I should be asleep.....

This was done as a means of catharsis since i couldn't be at AX. The original was an old sketch I scanned in, beefed up the faces and doodled around the colours till something worked out.

The car is a slice of an MG Roadster....didn't put much into it, I admit...but this is a personal piece and nothing I really would say is some crowning achievement.

The blue girls are Mia and Nikki

The red folk are Hiro and Rosa....and all four are ©me

You are a freaking god, did you know that? So much talent - agh, you make me jealous! :)

I love the colours on this, they are just fantastic. Deliciously so! Their hair is amazing, too. If I could ask, are these characters part of a comic of your own, or perhaps a story? Or are they just a personal little project? :) I'd love to know more about them.

they are my own charaters for a boring story i've had going for years now. it's nothing as interesting as it looks..especially if you know nothing about them, but it's one of those things where if you're not getting paid to do it, the time to really devote to doing work to really show everyone how fleshed out they are is near nil :(

... I really love it. Honestly, I think this may just have pushed itself ahead to be my absolute favorite of all your work. After all I like quiet character moments and this is such a stunning collage of them.
Your faces are looking much stronger. The color and lighting, of course, just blow me away.

i asked myself: are these faces strong? No , Dan...theyre not. So stop being a lazy sod, dig up appropriate references, and friggen look at em!!

So I think that personal chewing out paid off a bit xD I like this pic too..despite the car being a lil half-assed.
