so last few weeks I've had an illustration class of sorts to basically help whip myself into shape into doing cover quality painting. now, i don't know if this picture is exactly there, but i would like to hope it's a step in that direction. i spent a good long minute on it over the past couple of weeks just being anal on everything from colours , to perspective, to textures, contrast, etc. it's far from perfect...and i know i'll do better after this, but i hope this lays the ground work for more serious art.
