Haha wow Dan, that's one fierce woman there! Love the motion you captured, it looks strong and dynamic  The composition is also really nice, it's interesting how the lines of her body lead my eye and in the end everything focuses onto the tip of the lance. And that wild hair is just fun to look at :D
However, a few things that struck me as a bit weird....but take them with a grain of salt, you know that anatomy is not exactly my forte
I think the right leg's calf seems a little too big, it looks almost as wide as the thigh. Also her right boob feels kind of stiff to me, perhaps because the line where it connects to the body is a little hard. And lastly, the ribcake distracts a bit from the rest of the piece. I think the reason for this is that one can see so many little strokes there, when in the rest of the piece the broad strokes dominate, perhaps just smooth that out a tad.
But yeah, I just wanted to point these things out, but nonetheless I really quite enjoy this picture. Did you draw it from your mind, or did you have some sort of reference for that? The pose is so strong...and I love how you modelled the face

Dancakes :giggle:

woo, from one dancakes to another, i'm flattered 8D

it was one of those things that hit me after it was done. the anatomy's wonky but i'm mildly happy with the colouring process. unfortunately it's not happened again. can't seem to make colour adhere to the b/w as well as it did for this one :/

So you basically painted it black white first and then coloured it? Yeah, I have tried that too once, and found it pretty weird to do. Did not quite give me the results I had been looking for

Reminds me of some of Boris Vallejo's paintings. Well done. :)

Now THAT is just too sexy. Well done! Sometimes, sepia-toning is really the way to go. And, of course, hardbodied nude women as subject material do help.... :D
