Hello. I'm Dan. I draw things. Sometimes for money. Some of you may remember I used to post here somewhat frequently. And then everything changed when Facebook , tumblr, twitter, instagram and so on become the place you could just drop a pic and go. And for awhile, it was awesome. Instagram, alone, put me in touch with a LOT of people, both new and people I've admired for the longest time.
There's a "but" coming.....Tumblr got scared and banned all nudity....Facebook/Instagram screwed with their posting algorithms to point people to the high-traffic earners and away from the every-day artist or those who

So, I still post here once in a blue moon, but really only stuff I feel like showing and even then...I may not even remember D/A exists. I apologize for that and certainly appreciate those of you who still come to my DA page, but like a lot of artists, I tend to stick to wherever I can post quick and move on.

Once in awhile, I get notes asking about work, commissions, etc. I don't update D/A as much as I used to. I'm better reached via email (dan (at) danhowardart -dot- com) Also it's so much easier these days to just drop an image and go in other places. Insisting I talk to you via D/A notes and not email is not going to go over well.
